Dr. Sherwood provides spiritual leadership and vision for First Baptist Church Darlington, guiding us to faithfully follow Christ and fulfill the Great Commission. He is committed to preaching God’s Word, shepherding the church, and equipping believers to KNOW Jesus, GROW in their faith, and GO make disciples. Through his leadership, we seek to glorify God, build a strong church family, and reach our community with the gospel.

Pastor Dakota leads our congregation in Christ-centered worship while equipping believers to grow as disciples. He oversees worship ministries, guiding our church in authentic, biblical worship that glorifies God, and he develops discipleship opportunities to help people KNOW Jesus, GROW in their faith, and GO make disciples. Through his leadership, we seek to cultivate a culture of worship and spiritual growth that impacts both our church and community.

We are seeking a NextGen and Outreach Pastor who is passionate about discipling the next generation and leading outreach efforts to impact our community for Christ. This leader will invest in children, students, and young adults, equipping them to KNOW Jesus, GROW in their faith, and GO share the gospel. Additionally, they will develop and oversee outreach initiatives that extend the love of Christ beyond our church walls, reaching our city and beyond with the hope of the gospel.

Cynthia plays a vital role in supporting the mission of First Baptist Church Darlington by providing administrative and organizational assistance to our pastors, staff, and ministries. She helps coordinate church communications, schedules, and events, ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Through her dedication and service, she enables our church family to KNOW Jesus, GROW in Him, and GO for Him effectively.

Brian is dedicated to stewarding the facilities and grounds of First Baptist Church Darlington, ensuring they are well-maintained and ready for ministry. He oversees repairs, upkeep, and improvements, creating a safe and welcoming environment for worship, discipleship, and community outreach. Through his work, he helps support the church’s mission by providing a space where people can KNOW Jesus, GROW in their faith, and GO serve others.
